NAL Jumpers Sprint to Wins at 2024 Capital Challenge Horse Show
The 2024 Capital Challenge Horse Show welcomed jumpers to The Show Place Arena for the first time on Thursday, October 3, for the North American League (NAL) Finals. Earlier in the day, the Amateur-Owner Hunters determined their champions, while the Adult Hunters dominated in the outdoor arena.
Sweetnam and Casaccio Speed to Victory in North American League Jumper Finals
In the $10,000 NAL Children’s Jumper Final, presented by EquiFit, Collin Sweetnam of Wellington, FL, turned and burned with Just Noble to claim the top prize in 34.580 seconds. Kendall Casaccio of Marmora, NJ, and Indigo ES ran away with the win in the $10,000 NAL Adult Amateur Jumper Final, presented by SmartPak, in 36.048 seconds.
Ingram, Seaman, and Karet are Grand Champions at 2021 Captial Challenge Horse Show
October 7, 2021 – Upper Marlboro, MD – It was another full day of competition at the 2021 Capital Challenge Horse Show on Thursday, October 7, at Prince George’s Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Three Grand Champions were crowned as well, with Callie Seaman and Silver Lining winning the Amateur-Owner 3’6” honor, Martha Ingram and Airport 48 taking the Amateur-Owner 3’3” title, and Laura Karet with Per Se capturing the Adult Amateur victory.
Riders from Texas and Tennessee Claim Amateur-Owner Hunter Grand Championships at Capital Challenge Horse Show
Upper Marlboro, MD – Lindsey Roberts of Kingwood, TX, riding Snippet, and Martha Ingram of Nashville, TN, aboard Fonteyn, claimed the 3'6" and 3'3" Grand Amateur-Owner Hunter Championship titles on Thursday, October 3, at the Capital Challenge Horse Show.
Amateur-Owner and Adult Hunter Grand Champions Crowned
Tracy Scheriff-Muser of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, riding Aristocrat, and Lindsay Maxwell of Beverly Hills, CA, aboard Belgravia, claimed the Grand Amateur Owner Hunter Championship titles on Thursday, October 5, at the 25th anniversary Capital Challenge Horse Show.
Becky Gochman and Lindsay Maxwell Named Grand Hunter Champions at Capital Challenge
Upper Marlboro, MD – The Capital Challenge Horse Show, presented by World Equestrian Center, spotlighted Amateur-Owner and Adult Hunter riders with the naming of the division champions and overall grand champions on Thursday, October 5. Competition at the Capital Challenge Horse Show continues at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center through Sunday, October 9.
Stephanie Danhakl Dominates at Capital Challenge Horse Show
Adult and Amateur-Owner riders had the spotlight on Thursday at the Capital Challenge Horse Show, presented by the World Equestrian Center. Four divisions of amateur-owner hunters and three divisions of adult amateur hunters competed throughout the day at the Prince George’s Equestrian Center.
Samantha Schaefer Dominates Amateur Division Taking WCHR Amateur-Owner 3’6” Challenge and Earns Grand Champion Amateur-Owner 3’6” Hunter Honors
Amateur riders were the highlight on the sixth day of competition at the 2015 Capital Challenge Horse Show (CCHS) presented by Well Placed Smile, as a number of divisions crowned their champions and gifted prestigious awards. Local superstar and homegrown talent Samantha Schaefer of Westminster, MD, continued to add to her successful career at CCHS, amassing two more major championship wins as she earned Grand Champion Amateur-Owner 3’6” Hunter honors and topped the $2,500 WCHR Amateur-Owner 3’6” Challenge aboard Classified. Competition at CCHS will continue through Sunday, October 4.
Emma Kurtz and Valor Win Grand Pony Hunter Championship
Ponies ruled today at The Capital Challenge Horse Show, presented by The Gochman Family. The Capital Challenge Horse Show, held at the Prince George's Equestrian Center in Upper Marlboro, MD, concludes on Sunday, October 5. Emma Kurtz piloted David Gochman's Valor to the Grand Pony Hunter Championship and Best Pony Rider honors. Six pony and junior hunter divisions awarded championships. In the evening session, Kelli Cruciotti and Zidante won the $10,000 North American Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Challenge Cup Final Round.
Gochman and Sambalino, Baker and Q, Robinson and Sutton Place Awarded with Grand Hunter Titles for Amateur-Owners and Adults
The 2013 Capital Challenge Horse Show continued today with competition for the amateur and adult hunter riders, along with a evening session final for Children's/Adult Jumpers. Grand Championship ribbons were pinned on the bridles of Sambalino and Becky Gochman, Q and Susan Baker, and Sutton Place and Katie Robinson in the Amateur-Owner and Adult Hunter divisions. In the evening session, the fastest jump-off round came from Elizabeth Kirby and Winter White for the win in the $10,000 Children's/Adult Jumper Challenge.
